East Dallas Flower Co.
After our initial conversation with Rachel Denison of East Dallas Flower Co. we knew we were looking for something elegant but not high-brow, something classic but not vintage, and something clean but not modern. It needs to stand the test of time but not collect dust. It needs to stand out from the crowd of stem stores without losing the essence of the product. This led us towards a typography heavy design with simple flower illustrations and a minimal color scheme to let the flowers shine. Let’s see how we did.
The first decision to make was typography.
Next is the color scheme. We chose tints of moss green and coral as well as accents of black and white. These colors not only compliment each other but they are sure to compliment your flowers as well.
Last, is the floral illustration. We chose a peony. Classy, iconic, and it just so happens to be Rachel’s favorite. The black contour lines and organic curves give it a true yet clear form.
